Rammstein is known the world over for their intense industrial metal sound. Paul Landers' guitar playing is a big part of that. His signature model needed to meet certain standards before getting on stage with Rammstein—and it did not disappoint. Featuring killer sonic options, excellent effects and incredible versatility, this rig is for anyone that wants mountains of excellent sound options at their feet. Killer Sonic OptionsAt the base of this super cool pedal are the PL1 Fly Rig's dual all-analog channels. It's got a standard clean channel labeled "Wasser," meaning water in German, and a dirty overdrive channel called "Feuer," or fire. The Wasser channel can be shaped using a two-band EQ and compression knob. It also has a "Bite" button to add presence and clarity to the top end. The Feuer channel can be altered with a drive knob and a three-band EQ, as well as a Mid Shift button to alter the mid-range tones. A Boost footswitch and corresponding knob allow you to crank up your sound when you want to stand out, and you can couple that with the "Punch" feature to add mids to aid your soloing.Excellent EffectsIn addition to the excellent preamp tones and adjustable sounds you can get from the two channels, the Paul Landers PL1 Fly Rig has a few fun effects you can use to go further. The "DLA" section of the pedal refers to Delay and related effects. This area has a Tap/Tuner footswitch which you can hold down to tune your instrument. You can tap the tempo on that same footswitch or use the time knob to adjust the delay effect. There's also a Repeat knob to adjust the delay. The Ambiance knob is a reverb effect which can be adjusted with the "Size" push button to switch between a shorter and longer reverb tail. Finally, the "Vibrato" button turns the delay into a vibrato feature.Incredible VersatilityWith a lot of options to choose from already, you still get the opportunity to customize how you hear all this awesome sound. The PL1 Fly Rig has two output options, either a ¼ jack or XLR output. If you choose to plug headphones into the ¼ inch jack, you can shape that sound appropriately for headphones with a button in the DLA section. A corresponding XLR button next to it will do the same when you're running out through an XLR cable. With these two output jacks, you have the option to go through the ¼ jack into an amp's input and use this as a stompbox, or through an effects loop and simply use an amp's power amp. You can also run direct in to a mixer or PA.Features:Dual Channel PreampClean Channel with Two-Band EQ, Compression and Bite ButtonDirty Channel with Three-Band EQ, Drive and Mid Shift ButtonBoost Footswitch Adds up to 6dB or "Negative" Boost Down to -10dBDelay with Tap Tempo, Vibrato and Ambiance¼ Jack Output with Headphone Option or XLR OutputIncludes 9V DC, 100-240V Universal Auto-Switching Power SupplyGet your Tech 21 Paul Landers PL1 Fly Rig today at the guaranteed lowest price from Sam Ash with our 45-day return and 60-day price protection policy.
