Basson B810B Bass Speaker Cab 8x10

Seriously!?  This cab slays, that’s $37.5 a speaker, look at the specs. 200oz magnet on a 10”, can you say headroom!  If your local I encourage you to come play mine.  Bring Depends.

If you are play bass in a band that tunes down or way down,  I be used it fo A dropped to G.  This cab will keep you out of the guitarists frequency range and allow to enjoy playing the bass.  I tried a lot of cabs for down tuning format, nothing beats it.

This is my backup to my other Basson cab. I also have two of the 4x10 versions and a 2x10 version.

Ive never had a problem running a head as long as it was close to 1000w.  Mine has a Science Mother with KT 88’s, huge.  The highly underrated Acoustic B1000HD head sounds great, so you do have options that aren’t too pricey.  A 1000w digital head with a tube pre works wonders too, tried that with the Alembic FX-1 into the return of the Acoustic.
Ive never had a speaker blowout and one of the projects I play in is A dropped to G, handled it no problem.
