(Update 10/3/19:  I purchased a set of 2 replacement knobs to replace the broken volume knob.  I don't know why I never thought to do that before.  I guess I didn't even think I could find them.  But thanks to the magic of ebay, the cracked volume knob has been replaced.  I will, however, include it with the guitar as well as the other replacement knob, for the sake of having all of the original hardware, should you so desire.  Thanks.)

(Update, 3/17/20:  I have decided to include the coffin case I originally purchased for it in 2001 [pics pending].  I bought it from guitar center at the time I bought the guitar, because at the time it was the only case that the Blues 90 would fit in with it's wider lower bout.  It fits very nicely in the case, though there is a lot of open space above the headstock.  I will make sure it is well packed with packing foam/peanuts to ensure that it does not shift in the case during shipment).

(Update, 3/18/20:  Information obtained from the "Let's Talk Guild" forum confirms that this guitar was manufactured in Westerly, RI, by Guild, while Guild was owned by Fender.  But it is not a Fender-produced guitar.)

Up for grabs is my Guild Blues 90. I'm the original owner and bought it around 2001. I only played it in church on occasion when I led worship for a few years, and it's spent most of its life in the case as I'm primarily a bassist. This is a rare guitar that is hard to come by these days, especially in this condition.

The guitar is all original. The top of one of the volume knobs is (was) cracked (as can be seen in the pics) and was like that when I bought it. I never took it upon myself to replace the knobs because, one, it didn't bother me, and two, I preferred to keep the original vintage hardware intact. Other than that, its in amazing shape for a 17 year old guitar. Just a couple of small dings on the top (the top edge of the guitar that faces you when playing. The "right side"?), and a chip in the clearcoat on the fretboard on the high E side, at the 17th fret.  There is also some light corrosion on the bridge and tailpiece, but all functions as it should and sounds great.

It has a chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, cream P90 pickups, and chrome hardware. It's transparent red with cream binding on the body. The top has a slight flame to it that if you're looking directly at the guitar is difficult to see. It shows up well at certain angles. I've never seen a top like it. I tried to capture it in the pictures, but the pictures don't do it justice.

I will include a brand new Fender deluxe gig bag which was purchased solely for the purpose of shipping the guitar and is otherwise unused.

This guitar is one of the finest, highest-quality guitars that I've ever owned. However, for the past several years I have been playing bass exclusively and it has not been used. It deserves to go to a good home and we could use the funds.

The guitar will be well-packed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail within two days of receipt of payment.  $60 is an estimate based on previous experiences selling basses online.  If it is significantly less ($50 or less), I will refund the difference.  As I always say, I am not a shop.  Just a bass player (and occasional guitar player) who takes his positive feedback very seriously.  Please feel free to review my feedback and purchase with confidence.  Thanks for looking.
