Ampeg Jet J-12T & Jet II "Low Output" Standard JJ Retube(TM) Kit

This kit contains a premium matched pair of JJ Electronic EL844's to drop the overall output a couple decibels, an ECC83S for V1 and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. This kit will maintain the gain in the preamp section and lower the output in the power section which reduces the headroom.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your Jet came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
