Ampeg Jet J-12T & Jet II "Low Output" SRV JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Stevie liked to play his amps cranked and preferred a little cleaner sound from the front end allowing you to hear more power tube breakup. This kit uses a JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain, a current balanced ECC83S for V2 and a premium matched pair of the low output JJ Electronic EL844's for the power section.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your Jet came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
