Ampeg Jet J-12T & Jet II "Low Output" Gold Pin Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

If you like your distortion very smooth without a gritty edge then the Gold Pin kit may be just what you need. This kit uses a premium matched pair of JJ Electronic EL844's for reduced power, a standard Gold Pin ECC83S for V1 and a current balanced Gold Pin ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The Gold Pin tubes are a little richer and smother sounding.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your Jet came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
