Ampeg Jet J-12T & Jet II "Low Output" Tweed Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

Want that vintage Tweed tone and an earlier breakup? This is our Low Output Tweed Option, the kit contains a premium matched pair of JJ Electronic EL844's to drop the overall output a couple decibels, a JJ 12AY7 for V1 and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The Tweed Option drops the preamp gain a bit more than the SRV option allowing even more power tube breakup from the EL844's.

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your Jet came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
