Fender 1988 Telecaster - American Standard - Gunmetal Blue - Excellent!

Gunmetal Blue, tinted maple neck, black/white/black pick guard, stock American Standard Telecaster pickups. This guitar is in excellent condition. The frets have a little wear but lots of life in them. The neck is also in excellent condition. There is one thin wear mark, on the top side of neck between the 13th and 14th frets. It doesn't effect playing.

The pick guard has pick marks, of course, and the front and back of body have light surface scratches from being a 28 year old, vintage Telecaster. Nothing close to thru the surface. You have to see them in just the right light. There are some surfaces scratches on the control plate and bridge. Anything you see that might look like a smudge is from the camera lens.

I'm the second owner and I've owned it for ten years. I'm moving on to other sounds so I need to part with it.

The case is original and in good condition. All latches work fine. Schaller strap lock buttons are installed. Before I ship the guitar I will put the regular strap buttons back on.
This is a beautiful sounding and playing guitar.
