Our 1967 American-made Mosrite Celebrity III, serial # K-0727, in flamed Trans Cherry is a sight to behold. The Celebrity III was produced for a few short years and is a fully hollow-bodied guitar. Not unlike a Gibby 330 in both sound and playability. We have dated this model by its pot dates as a 1967. The body is arched Spruce with flamed Maple sides & back and a three-bolt Maple neck. The pickups are Mosrite black humbuckers with a single Volume, single Tone knob and three-way pickup selector. The neck shape is a nice medium C with a Rosewood fretboard, 1 5/8" roller nut and microdot inlays. 24 3/4" scale and approximately 7lbs 2oz in weight. The condition of the guitar is quite good given its age. The guitar comes with what we believe to be an era-correct case that fits the guitar like a glove and is even lined in yellow like an original!
