One of two very special Surfbreakers, master built by Bacchus for the great Tokyo Guitar Show. A special run of 6 pieces of these Surfbreakers was made for the show. We are very blessed and proud to have secured this Pearl White Matte model.
The Tokyo Guitar Show is the Japanese equivalent of NAMM. If you are viewing this guitar, you will most likely not need the incredible tradition of Japanese guitar making explained to you. So here we have a guitar created to exhibit the pinnacle of Japanese guitar craft. Each one was crafted by a Deviser Master Luthier, from timber selection to final setup, using traditional hand crafting techniques only.
The Surfbreaker is based on a classic offset design. Notice the carved detailing around the edges of the guitar, the tapered heel and individual sunken neck screws, the cool knobs with push/pull switch, and the hand made pickups. The finishes are breathtaking in the flesh.
These guitars are killer,in every respect. When they're gone, they're gone.

Bacchus Handmade Series guitars are hand crafted by the most experienced Japanese luthiers at the Bacchus Aska plant located in Nagano, Japan.
While most other guitar manufacturers use factory-line CNC routers even on high end guitars in order to reduce costs and increase production, everything is done by hand at Bacchus. Every piece of wood has its own totally unique characteristics and only by working the wood by hand can an expert luthier create an instrument of the highest quality.
