Matamp Series 2000 Reissue for sale.
Amp was damaged in shipping. One of the pots and some circuit resistors were replaced. Chassis is slightly bent. One of the small knobs is cracked at the base threw the screw hole. Can probably be epoxied back together, as it’s still in one piece. Just won’t grab onto the pot shaft. Repairs were done by Mitch Colby, who was the VP of Korg/Marshall several years back and who now owns the Park reissue Line.
It was also converted to use a US power cord. Original Bulgin cord will be included. Back plate is not pictured, but is included. Only the head is for sale. I do not have the cab or reverb unit.
One thing to note about the circuit, it is pulling all of its gain from only one of the 2 preamp tubes. It gets nasty at full bore with all controls maxed. Nasty like a MKI Tone Bender. Can be tamed by dialing back the treble pot or just dialing the gain pot back a few clicks. Beautiful sounding amp! Does early Fleetwood Mac tones in spades! Drifting, Albatross, Then Play On, etc...
