1992 Breedlove CM Masterclass Acoustic Guitar with Case

This guitar is a very early CM guitar signed by the three original Luthiers who started Breedlove Guitars in 1992; Larry Breedlove, Steve Henderson and Terry Myers. Only 14 guitars were made with the three signatures; three being CM (Concert Myers). Of the thousands of Breedlove Guitars made since 1992, only 14 have the three signatures. Terry went back to Taylor Guitars after 11 months at BL with Larry Breedlove following soon after.

This CM model, one of three, is slightly smaller than current models and with no top inlay in the fretboard. Mr. Myers thought any fancy stuff like that would take away from the beauty of the wood and shape of the guitar. The original design received many awards for style, sound and playability.

The back and sides are made from Claro Walnut from California. The top is Cedar from British Columbia. The Neck is two piece walnut with AAA Madgascar Ebony fretboard with adjustable truss rod. The ebony bridge is signature BL style. All bindings are wood with the red being a maple dyed red. All of the tone woods were processed by Pacific Tonewoods, Inc., in Concrete Washington.

A guitar built by any of the three now would cost in the tens of thousands of dollars. This guitar was built with input from all three with Terry Myers the lead designer.

This guitar is in great shape! Action is nice and low and the sound is amazing! Very rare guitar for the collector and player! It did suffer a split on the bottom and part of the top but it has been expertly repaired by local luthier Devin Champlin (See Pictures)
