About This Listing

"I wanted to keep the heart and soul of the Ibanez Artist but add some features that would kick it up to a level that players could really enjoy and appreciate. The Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups are a great take on Classic PAF pickups. The Schroeder bridge adds a fine tuning ability, great tone, and a stylish look that's not on any other guitar. The luminescent side markers on the neck are low key but come in handy when needed. Last, but not the least, the German Carved maple top and goldtop finish give this guitar that classic look but from a new angle. I wanted this guitar to feel and look classic, but have the best of what's out there today. In the car world they do a thing called restomods. Basically they take a classic body and put it on the chassis of a brand new car and engine. I wanted to do that with the CBM100. It's a guitar restomod." - Coy Bowles, Zac Brown Band

Channel your inner twinges of gospel and country rock with the Ibanez CBM100 Coy Bowles Signature Guitar - the model desinged in collaberation with Coy Bowles himself and Ibanez. Acquired when he was only 17, Coy's Artist Series model holds a special place in his heart and remains a key part of his current arsenal for performances to this day. Using Coy's original 1997 Artist as an inspiration, the CBM100 is built around a choice grade Mahogany body with a Maple top, masterfully finished in a resplendent gold metallic. The CBM100's set-in Mahogany neck is designed and shaped to Coy's specifications, and features an Ebony fretboard with striking pearl/Abalone block inlays, medium frets expertly finished using the Prestige fret edge treatment, glow-in-the-dark side dots, and a bone nut for classic, warm tone.

A Schroeder Stoptail bridge offers a comfortable playing surface, easy string loading, and superior intonation and tone. Equipped with brass saddles, the Schroeder produces a crisp, articulate sound and enhances sustain. For electronics, the CBM100 is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbuckers. These aged pickups are designed to deliver the aesthetics and tone of vintage 1955 humbuckers with an articulate, yet mellow tone, rich in harmonic content. Perfect for rock, country or blues, the CBM100 is classic Ibanez taken to the next level, available now to own at Replay Guitar Exchange!
