Minarik Lotus Studio Xtreme Cracked Mirror Ball Tone Tail Electric Guitar Ser # 000010 w/Orig Case

This 2005 Minarik is from the first production run of the Lotus Series the Serial is # 000010. It’s in 8.5 out of 10 condition, it has a tiny scratch as shown in the pictures and little play-wear. This early model has a mahogany neck, the latest ones don’t. I’m the second owner of this guitar, I was a little worried about the neck because it looked like it was separating from the body “as you see in the pictures”, but my luthier said the neck is in 100% condition, and it was a esthetic problem when the glass settled .
The case zippers are broken but not the latch, other than that this guitar looks brand new.
I love the single cutaway on the guitar, you can really dig for solos. Recently professionally set up to use #10 strings, so if you want to install #9 strings you’ll have to pay to set it up at your local store.

This is the most technically "perfect" single cut-away guitar on the market. The traditional single cut-away guitar is severely lacking in left-side surface area used to grab and articulate low-end frequency response. By incorporating Minarik Guitars Patented"Tone tail" engineering on the bottom of the body, and adding an additional tail on the upper left bout, the frequency problems with the traditional single cut-away guitar have been "corrected". The cut-away has been sharpened and enhanced to tie in with the two other "points" on the body, giving this guitar that signature "minarik" design style.
