Basically i chopped the neck off an epiphone les paul and set it onto a homemade body that I made with spare maple and bamboo hardwood flooring. The electronics are one pickup and two pots from the les paul and the covers on the back and headstock are made from an old LP. I also rigged up a bridge that would fit on the body, its weird but it is adjustable. Its a piece of metal with nails glued to it.
And it actually plays! It has a real heavy bassy sound due to the heavy weight and single neck pickup. The pots are a bit scratchy and either need a good cleaning or replacement. But it stays in tune and with a little tlc by someone with more skills than myself you could turn it into a really unique instrument.
