I requested a custom walnut amp head and speaker cab to match up visually with a William Jeffrey Jones walnut/maple fretless six string guitar, but ended up it's been my Huber Orca Jr. that's taken to the headroom available through the amp. I'm getting more mileage out of my Microbaby and 10" cab —and some other amp makes— overall, so even though the Superbaby IMHO is the better and more dynamic setup compared to the Microbaby, and don't underestimate how L O U D this 6-12w low-watt amp can be with certain tube combinations, it's the one going to the Reverb market.
Ships with a stock tube setup — 5Y3 rectifier, TungSol RI 6L6 output tube, and 12AX7. Amp intentionally designed so tubes don't require biasing. If you have one of his Mad Scientist tube kits, you can swap out combinations exponentially and really go downtown. If you don't have a Mad Scientist, email Curt and order one.
Very rarely used and only at home. Excellent to mint condition. From a smoke free environment, all that.
