The famous Star IX of the Czechoslovak manufacturer JOLANA, launched into production from 1967.

The deck is made of alder. Maple fingerboard, unpainted, with walnut grip and a very small radius.
On the rear side opposite the bridge deck has two large white plastic " rivet " - legs, preventing scratching on the body paint if guitar lying on the floor.
The scheme consists of two rail singles, two volumes and one tone.
The sound of the STAR IX, shall we say, controversial. Light deck, bridge construction and normal ( 630 mm ) mensure not assume any "lion growls" in sound.
But!
Balance when playing on the belt is quite normal, and the appearance of the guitar fully compensates for the lack of evil sound.
The guitar is enough comfortable. Generally it is ideal reloading riffs and rhythm parts in the spirit of mod -rock and other "noisy" and "angry" 60s - where need a bright and clear attack.

Your received: Guitar, lever tremolo
