Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A Super Cool Made in Japan 1983 Fender Squire Bullet Strat with Fender gigbag..
This is not one of the cheaply made Indonesia Made Squire Bullets. These were only made for two years in Japan and are highly sought after. After getting this cool guitar set up, I understand why. It plays great and sounds incredible. We have this guitar set up with whisper low action that practically plays itself. The Fender Pickups are very very strong. I found myself playing this guitar for about a half hour it was so fun. I usually check them out for about a minute. I was amazed at this guitar!
It plays great. Plenty of room to raise or lower for your playing preference. Setup for fast playing now..
These are solid wood guitars. You can tell from the weight. It weighs 6 lbs 11 ozs... the nut measures 1 11/16ths and has a standard 25 1/2 inch scale neck. Hard Tail so it stays in tune and is original from head to toe. It even has the Fender Japan Logo'd Tuners. The guitar is not perfect. It has player dings and scratches but all superficial items...Its in very good shape... Check those pics!
Heres some info from the internet regarding these cool MIJ guitars
For 1983 and 1984 the Bullet One has been manufactured in Japan (SQ serial number pre-fix) and in 1985 and 86 in Korea (E serial number pre-fix stamped on the neck plate) and is marketed under the Squier trademark as the Squier Bullet One. Humbucking pickups from the original (early 80s) consisted of the same paired single coil configuration as the American-made models but used steel rods as pole pieces with a ceramic bar magnet. The three single coil pickup pattern like the Fender Stratocaster was also available as well as tremolo and hard tail bridges. These were available in Black and Brown Sunburst.
This guitar has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound...the Pickups are fat and full of tone...Our Tech went over the guitar and set it up with a set of new 9 guage strings.... It plays great and bends like you want a Strat to...
Now this guitar is really cool but old and used..it will be sold as is..However, ... I have been hand picking guitars for my customers for close to 20 years now… My customers have loved the guitars I found for them...This one will not be an exception...
Thanks for checking out out our cool Guitars..
