Up for grabs is a beautifully crafted, 1990, made in India, Squier II Precision Bass.
The previous owner had upgraded the pickups, and they're definitely high quality, but I don't know the brand.
I had always wanted a fretless bass and I was determined to make this a fretless bass without totally destroying the Indian rosewood fretboard, or the gorgeous birdseye/flame maple neck. This is, by far, the most beautiful neck I have ever seen. I even took a risk and used polyurethane on the Indian rosewood. In case you didn't know, it's nearly impossible to use polyurethane on rosewood because of the oils in the wood. I will say that it took me well over a month to get it absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. AND I didn't damage any of the neck or fretboard!!!
Now I want to pass it along to another budding bassist, aspiring to be the next Jaco Pastorius. You will love this bass. I put a lot of love into making this bass even better and more beautiful than it was when I got it.
These made in India Squier II basses and strats are made unbelievably well. Not sure what wood the body is made of, but it's a very dense wood, and rather hefty. It's got a really good feel to it.
There are some very light scuffs, but not noticeable unless you're looking for them. Examine the pictures, as they are part of the description.
