Up for sale is a rare bird...
A 1987 Alembic Distillate 5 string with a gorgeous birds eye maple top!
Has a fair amount of play wear (minor fret wear)
Nitro finish (some checking on the back) , 32" scale
Some dings/scratches, but no major damage that effects playability. Neck is straight, it plays great! Sounds amazing
It appears like there might have been an repair done long ago on the headstock joint, but there is no concern there.

The rotary switch is NEW and was just replaced last year. Part was bought straight from Alembic and was installed at our shop.
Has a custom engraved brass plate covering the electronics in the back, including the quote "I progress, therefore I am. i-iv-v"
