This exquisite specimen of handcrafted skill and artistry is #19 of only 96 built for a 1995 limited run. The Hamer USA Standard Korina limited edition run is complemented by a matching Hamer USA Vector Korina limited edition run of only 72 built in 1997 (see our other listing--we have #46 of this model as well!). Both models are stunning and hearken back to the historic 1958 Gibson Explorer and Flying V Korina models. Their release struck the world with their wild shapes and bold statements, paired with a newfound type of guitar beauty. Never before fulfilled by a custom builder, Hamer was the first to show the world just how incredible the Korina Explorer and Flying V could look in modern times. Featuring the most well-cured wood stock on the planet, these guitars are remarkably stable and solid, with the sound and feel of the most top notch guitars on Earth. Hamer Rocks! Tone to the Bone! These two guitars have been residing in our shop since we got them directly from the Hamer factory in the '90s, and have been revolving from our shop (out of public reach) to our vintage guitar museum on the top floor of our building ever since. They are truly wondrous to behold, which is why we don't mind hanging on to USA Hamers for a good long time...because once they're gone--they're gone!
