You're looking at an Ampex MX-35 vintage tube 4-channel mic/line mixer and preamp. It is in good working and cosmetic condition. Just been gone through by one of the best techs in Los Angeles. I have tested all four microphone inputs on both Channel A and B. All sound very quiet and warm. The two line inputs do not work because there are two transformers missing. Will probably work if you want to replace missing transformers but I can't guarantee. All knobs turn smooth and are quiet. All switches work. One is a little soft on one side, but works fine. Modified for no power switch.
You'll see in the pictures it has two vintage tubes (RCA, Sunotone) and the rest are Mullards. It has a very short power cable, so you will need to connect it to an extension cord. This comes from the estate of Chuck Lewis, a well-known audio professional, famous for serving as the audio supervisor for the Los Angeles Music Center and overseeing the Hollywood Bowl for almost 30 years. I am offering a 14-day return policy. Thanks for looking!
