This DT66 features a stunning laminated spruce top. The blonde wood is bathed in a gloss natural finish to bring up the natural beauty. There is no pickguard to obscure this wonderful tonewood, and the soundhole rosette is a lovely Occitan Cross pattern.
This top sits on a body of mahogany, and this spruce on mahogany yields a full and open tone with superb balance, well-developed bottom end, and excellent projection. The grain of the back is figured and quite breathtaking.
The mahogany set neck has a C profile for a super-comfortable feel, and the Indonesian Rosewood fretboard is dark and smooth and devoid of fret markers and, along with the black binding, bridge saddle, and hardware, make for a cool custom shop look.
