JJ Electronic Gold Pin ECC81 / 12AT7 Current Balanced

This is our current balanced Gold Pin ECC81. These are tubes that test out to have the same current output on both triodes and low noise! These tubes are for use as phase inverters or driver tubes. Using a current balanced PI tube will eliminate phase cancellation and let all notes ring out evenly.

The JJ Gold Pin ECC81 is designed to be a premium version of the JJ ECC81. The Gold Pin tubes have a very open and lush character. When overdriven they have a very smooth and singing tone that's less gritty and less aggressive than the non-Gold Pin ECC81.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests all performed on one of our Amplitrex testers.
