We are pleased to offer this fantastic Custom Shop Masterbuilt by Yuriy Shishkov ’69 Telecaster Thinline Relic with Bigsby. This guitar has been aged very convincingly and looks great with its somewhat unusual sunburst/black guard finish. Even with the Bigsby she only weighs just a bit over 3 kg, which makes for a very comfortable and resonant guitar.
The overall tonality is bright but this guitar never sounds never thin or harsh, and there’s plenty of power from the ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup and Tele Twister neck pickup. The 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets don’t distract from the vintage vibe while adding modern playability and versatility.
This actual guitar was reviewed in the German Gitarre und Bass Magazin and a copy of the glowing review is included, as is all the usual case candy and documentation.
