Fuchs PA-100 ODS MOD 2017

September 2017 Fuchs 100 watt conversion (Fuchs "mod") using a Fender PA tube amp. As with all Fuchs mods, it's totally gutted and rebuilt. In this case only the chassis and cab are original, as Fuchs upgraded the amp with Classic Tone transformers, and 4/8/16 ohm speaker outs. Here is a complete description from Andy Fuchs' original posting:

"A quad of 6L6's running 475 volts, an all tube audio signal path and reverb circuits. Separate bias pot per tube, Fuchs full feature fx loop (series/parallel, line or pedal level), beautifully wired with new everything except the chassis. Upgraded Classic Tone iron with 4-8-16 ohm outputs in the stock cabinet. That means new filter caps, switches, sockets, and circuitry.

Mid boost, gain boost, channel switching, 2-way LED foot switch with channel and gain boost, single point grounding and regulated relay power supply for quiet operation, all new wiring, sockets, jacks, switches, PC boards, filter caps, and all tubes selected for best tone and lowest noise. 3-EQ switches for bright, deep, two eq settings (rock/jazz), internal overdrive gain and overdrive tone control, the deep lush reverb pan reverb sounds massive! A glorious three knob reverb (tone, dwell and level), three knob overdrive (gain, level, and tone), global master and accent control. Custom silver panel with black lettering.

Full power/half power and triode/pentode switches get you 100 watts, two kinds of 50 watts, and 25 watt power levels! Perfect for anything from home and studio use to full out gigging."
