Using this Fret Slotting Miter Box to accurately cut fret slots with a fretting handsaw. The ball-bearing guides that make sawing easier and faster, they hold your fret saw perpendicular to the fingerboard, and can be adjusted to match the blade precisely. You can quickly slot any board up to 3" (76.2mm) wide, with adjustable depth of cut for any fretwire. You always have an unobstructed view of your work.

Made of rugged aluminum and 12" (304.8mm) long, this miter box has convenient mounting holes for firm attachment to your workbench, the mounting screws and spanners are included.

Note: Since the Miter Box only accommodates fingerboards up to 1/2" thick, it will not work for traditional Fender style one-piece necks, or one-piece cigar box guitar necks.

The Fret saw in the picture is not included. We just have the Miter box, you can buy the saws and fret scale templates from others.This Fret Slotting Miter Box can work with most Fret slotting saws(the width must be more than 1.65"(42mm)). and it can perfectly work with StewarMacDonald's notched Fret Scale Templates, slots for popular scale lengths can be cut with accuracy and ease.
