Fender Model 26 Deluxe 1946 Woody

1946 Fender Model 26 Deluxe "Woody." This rare amp is all original other than the normal capacitors having been changed. The wood finish, grill cloth, transformers, speaker and cone, are original. The old replaced components will be included in the sale.

The original Jensen speaker is date coded 220 632, dating the amp to the latter half of 1946. The Serial number is 894.

The original power cord has been lengthened, and is still two prong.

This amp is in excellent working order. These Model 26 amps sound quite dirty, so they're great for recording or other uses when natural distortion is desired without the use of effects.

These amps are quite rare and hard to find these days in original condition.

As this is a 70 year old piece of electronics, there is no warranty and no returns. It is currently in excellent working order but may need service at any time.
