Amp is currently running SIX EL34 power tubes to take a bit of edge off. With KT-88 power tubes this thing will remind you of the scene from "Back to the Future".
Amp layout is designed (by me) around the Early 70s AP Hylight era pre-amp schematic for Hiwatt which means it will work for either guitar or bass. I personally have only used it for guitar, but it will sound terrific with Bass as well.

I personally drew the layout as posted of this unit on the hiwatt.org web site.
