VOX Hand Wired AC30HW Gold Pin Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit
Our users rate Reverb
Want a very smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the VOX AC30HW Heads and Combo Amps. It contains a premium matched quad of JJ Electronic EL84's for power, a GZ34 rectifier tube along with a five Gold Pin JJ ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter in V5.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
Just message us at the time you order to let us know if you're looking for an early breakup, a moderate breakup or a later breakup for more headroom in which case we will choose the coolest grades we have available for the power tubes.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
