Dragonfire Mini Buckers are passive AlNiCo mini humbucker pickups offering the charismatic sweet warmth and clarity you crave in a classic mini size. Mini Buckers can provide you with vintage authenticity, strong bass and strong highs for everything from Blues to Classic Rock. These humbuckers are an excellent choice for rhythm and lead in this specialty-sized humbucker style.
These are vintage wound pickups and boast an Alnico 5 rail / blade type magnet for rounded and dynamic mini vintage humbucker performance and coverage. With a covered pickup style, these minis give you a slick, focused and smooth visual to match their (and your!) playing. These pickups are available in other colors as well as in a set for savings and convenience in our Reverb Store.
Mini Buckers are standard mini humbucker-sized specialty pickups. They will not work in standard-sized pickup slots. In most cases, this pickup style will require specialty mounting rings or a pickguard designed to work with this pickup size. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use. These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split as well as add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options (instructions not included). If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.
Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
