Fender Blues Jr "Low Output" High Gain Option JJ Retube(TM) Kit

For those of you who want more drive, gain and sustain from the front end along with an earlier breakup from the output section. These will not hurt your clean tone but as you dial in gain you will just get a bit more. A premium matched pair of JJ Electronic EL844's to reduce the output, two handpicked high gain ECC83S's for V1 and V2 with a high gain current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V3. More gain from the front end and earlier distortion from the power tubes!

This Retube Kit is plug and play with no bias worries. These are completely different tubes than the stock tubes your Blues Junior came with. The JJ EL844's are a proprietary tube that JJ Electronic built at the request of Eurotubes.

The dissipation of the JJ EL844 is 25% less than a standard EL84 so using the EL844's will reduce the power a little in your amp.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.

If you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper Tube Damper Rings for the two EL844's. Combo amps are excessively hard on tubes because of all the vibrations. Even though we test for noise, no tube is immune to developing a rattle in this harsh environment. These are available here on Reverb in the Eurotubes storefront as a pair and will greatly decrease tube rattle.
