This Oscar Schmidt "Sovereign" mandolin was made around 1915. It has had a recent neck set and the cracks in the body have been secured. Please inspect the photos closely and note the cosmetic flaws on this instrument including dings, scrapes, and evidence of past repairs.

Due to this instrument's age, we have tuned it down. It is tuned, low to high, Eb-Bb-F-C.

This instrument's neck has a V shape. The action is low and playable up and down the neck. It has a sweet, bright, quiet tone.

This instrument does not come with a case.
