2013 ESP Original Series MA-CTM (Eclipse) Black

"This is an ESP Original Series--not the inferior STANDARD SERIES model. They don't call it the "Eclipse" in Japan. This guitar was built in the Kiso factory (indicated by the "K" in the serial number) as a NON-EXPORT Japanese domestic product. I purchased this guitar on Reverb in 2015 and was amazed by the craftsmanship and playability. I can't attest for the guitar's 1st two years of existence (though it was MINT when I bought it), but since I've owned it, it's never left the house and it's been played about once every couple weeks for maybe 10-20 minutes at a time. I'm a middle aged man that loves heavy metal, I'm not in a band, I'm not that great of a guitarist, and quite frankly, I should be playing an LTD, lol."  

ESP MA-CTM  

From the ESP Original Series, which is the top level of ESP and only available in Japan, not sold overseas anywhere. Not to be confused with the inferior "Standard," "E-II," or "Edwards" lines. This is a very fine instrument that retails around $4000 in Japan.  

The guitar is in excellent condition, showing only very slight signs of use. It is extremely clean, including the frets which show only slight wear. There is an extremely small blemish on the tip of the headstock, as pictured, that is hardly visible in real life. The gold hardware shows little, if any, tarnish. Electronics and hardware have no issues. Plays & sounds great!  

The guitar will come in its original hard case, which was an optional $250 upgrade from the standard gigbag. The ESP Original Series guitars come in outstanding cases that are much nicer than the cheap ones they use on their export lines. The case looks basically looks like new with only a few small marks from taking in/out of the closet. Also included are the case keys and truss rod tool.   

Please note that black guitars are very hard to photograph and pick up all sorts of reflections from the room and light sources. Rest assured this is a beautiful instrument in excellent condition as described.
