Authentic Warwick Streamer 1984 5th Anniversary bass, 17 of 30 made and sold.
Shellac finish, flamed maple body, wenge neck with maple stripes and an ebony fingerboard.
Built in 1984, using 30 year old wood, and stored until 1987 to be sold as a 5th anniversary edition bass.
Curious story behind them, for some reason Warwick built these instruments in their rough form in 1984 (and year plate at 24th fret says as much) but didn't complete and release them until their 5th Anniversary in 1987 - 3 years later. Super thin body, super thin neck. The first Warwick Limited Edition, only 30 of these instruments were ever built, and this one is number 017. Also comes with its original case, with matching serial number. This has been called the "Rolls Royce of Basses".
