Fender Stratocaster Elite 1984 Black Price Drop!

You are looking at a 1984 Fender Stratocaster Elite with the original Fender hardshell case. 

This all original guitar has a E3 serial number on the headstock, but is dated January of 1984 on the neck sticker (see photo), and is in overall very good shape.

The guitar body has some minor playing wear (slight scratches, and dings here and there) on the top, back, and edges.

The neck has some fret wear on the first 10 or so frets and an area on the edge of the fretboard where the clear coat is a bit rough like something rubbed on it, This is at the high E side, first fret where the rosewood and maple meet up. None of this affects the guitar's playability. There is plenty of life left in these frets.

The guitar is missing the whammy bar, and the string lock. It has also had the bridge saddles replaced with Graph Tech's (I assume) version.. I am told this is an upgrade and supposedly adds sustain to the guitar. I can't make those claims since I haven't played this guitar with the original saddles.   

The guitar has been cleaned and set up, the fretboard oiled, and a new set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky .09's have been put it with low action. Everything works as it should and the guitar plays and sounds great. These pickups are very unique, and in my opinion this is the best sounding distorted Strat without a true humbucker installed they ever made.
