1982 Quest Atak 2. Factory paint is a black and gray gradient. Very cool and classic. Made in Japan. Matsumuko built. Feels very solid. Mahogany body. maple neck. Neck plays super fast and feels really, really nice. Stable and stays in tune. Neck is straight. Action plays low. The body has an aggressive shape and reminds me of more radical looking Suhr Modern series.
Recently gone thru and cleaned. Frets polished with Stew Mac Fine and Extra Fine wheels. Recently installed new zebra set of Gold Rush pickups made Guitar Heads. The Gold Rush are such an under rated p-ups and quickly becoming my favorite. Wow! Perfect match for this guitar. Original Quest pickups included. New Switchcraft jack installed. Sounds amazing. Visible signs of player wear on the finish. Couple spots are showing wood. Overall good to very good condition. Electronics work excellent. Comes with Quest OHSC.
