"I like a guitar that weighs more when I play live, and this guitar is pretty light, so I didn't use this SG on tour much if at all, but it's a great sounding guitar so I recorded with it a lot on Risk, and the solo albums I was doing at the time." - Marty
Gibson SG Standard in Ebony (Black) from 1993
• Powerful, intense, and easily recognizable 6-string electric guitar with solid mahogany body and '50s rounded neck profile
• 498T and 490R pickups--"T" for treble, and "R" for rhythm
• Mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and holly inlays decorate its headstock with trapezoid fret board inlays
• Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridge; 2 volume and 2 tone controls plus 3-way toggle
Has dings on front of headstock and dings on back of body. Other than that, very clean. Sounds great and plays well.
