This Gibson Les Paul Standard Black 1999 Electric Guitar is Owned by Marty Friedman

"I liked this guitar so much that I used it on tour quite a bit, despite having a signature model out by another maker. This was a go to guitar for all the recording I was doing at the time." - Marty

The Les Paul Standard has been through its share of changes since the '50s, but remains one of the world's most popular and iconic instruments. From the late '70s onward, the Standard has stayed more or less the same with just some variations in finish and hardware options, as well as the release various special editions.

Body Style: Single cutaway solidbody

Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Maple top, Rosewood fingerboard

Design Elements:  Two humbucker pickups, trapezoid inlays, four control knobs, three-way pickup selector, white pickguard, bound fingerboard, stopbar tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge.

Guitar has some dings on back of headstock and back of body. Marty just did some tracking with this guitar with Greg Bissonette. This includes it's pickguard in the guitar case.
