One of the really nice things about Fender® instruments is that you can change the look of your instrument with relative ease. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to replace the pickguard. Fender offers a variety of pickguards in different colors and materials to help you add a personal touch to your favorite Fender instrument.
11-hole vintage-style mount pickguard with truss rod adjustment notch, center mounting screw hole, and four extra holes to accommodate a vintage-style thumb rest and chrome pickup cover. Thumb rest holes are drilled in '60s era location (on the bottom of the pickguard above the neck pickup).
Note: Pickguard is identical in size to a modern Jazz Bass pickguard, but it has an additional mounting screw hole located directly above the neck pickup. Drilling to the body of your bass will be required for proper mounting.
Fits American Vintage '62 (USA) models. Will not fit 5-string Jazz Bass® models.
