This auction is for one mid-70s vintage Farfisa Synthorchestra in good cosmetic and excellent functional condition. It is a 120V North American model and has a three-prong power cable attached so it's plug and play in North America. I will include a PDF of the service manual that has schematics, parts list and tuning instructions.
This Syntorchestra is in original unrestored (to the best of my knowledge) condition but has just been cleaned and tuned by me and is working great. I cleaned key contacts, lubed faders and cleaned switches and everything is working great. There are a few good Youtube demos out there on this guy and if you are familiar with Klaus Schulze you've heard it before. It sounds wonderfully rich and vintage and nails that mid-70s Krautrock tone. It really comes to life with some delay and/or reverb, and the separate outputs for the mono and poly section allow you to process them independently.
Cosmetically you can see some worn spots up close, mostly on the top and lid and they are pretty prominent in the photographs but it looks good in person, used for sure but not trashy. There is one small screw missing from the lid and the rivets on the left hinge are a little loose but still work well. I just noticed when photographing that there is a small piece of plastic missing on the left side right next to and above the conductor/orchestral picture.
Overall it's a good looking synth that plays very well and is stable. Let me know if you have any questions. Local inspection and pickup available in Akron, Ohio.
