Gibson Guitar's Custom Division has created a limited edition guitar, the HUMMER H2 Les Paul, that brings together two of America's corporate icons, General Motors and Gibson Guitar. The vehicle's familiar body details, including its seven distinctive colors, are featured on Gibson's famous Les Paul Special body.

The guitar's appointments are highlighted by the "HUMMER" aluminum grille plate design integrated into the pickguard, strap buttons fashioned from automotive tow loops and "HUMMER" inlaid in the fingerboard with pearloid. The instrument also sports chrome-plated knurled control knobs, Grover tuners and black body and fingerboard binding. It comes standard with a black Anvil road case.

"The HUMMER H2 is a special vehicle, and for HUMMER owners and music enthusiasts, this guitar is the ultimate accessory," said Gibson chairman and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, who drives a HUMMER H2. "It represents two great American icons and the finest elements of the American lifestyle."

The Gibson HUMMER H2 Les Paul guitar is being produced in a limited-edition quantity of only 100 and is available through authorized Gibson Custom dealers worldwide.
