Overview
The Josephson e22S is a side-addressed, small diaphragm condenser microphone with cardioid pattern designed in collaboration with Steve Albini of Electrical Audio as an ideal mic for close-up drum recording. It handles extremely high SPL before distortion, and has relatively low output transformer-coupled electronics to easily interface with both transformer and electrically balanced mic preamps.
