Carvin TCS 115M (4) of them in "MINT" condition!!
I’m selling a complete monitoring system which will include:
- (1) PreSonus StudioLive 16.4.2 Mixing Console (latest firmware)
- (4) TCS115M monitors (15” speaker, 2” titanium diaphragm, Full Range or Bi Amp mode)
- (2) dbx 2231 - Dual Channel 31-Band Graphic Equalizer/Limiter with Type III Noise Reduction (these will allow you 31 bands of EQ per monitor giving you precise tonal control)
- (1) Carvin DCM 4000 Watt Power Amp (this amp is basically (4) 1000 watt amps in one. It has 4 independent volumes so each monitor could receive up to1000 watts of power...but you don't want to do that since the monitors are only rated 600watts. Plus you'll blow your ears out as well!
- (1) Furman PL-8 Power Conditioner and Light Module
- (4) 25ft Pro Speakon Cables
- (4) 8ft XLR Cables
- (2) Power Cords for Amp
- (1) SBK 16 Space (front and back rails) Shock Mount Rack Case (OR)
- (1) OSP 16 Space Mixer/Amp ATA Rack Flight Road Case with Lid Table MC12U-16SL
NOTE: I have both of these rack cases and will let you choose one or the other. They both have different qualities so I’ll let you choose the one that fits your needs. The pictures will better show you the difference. The main thing to keep in mind is the SKB is shock mount and the OSP is not. I can also sell both cases if needed.
I will give you a brief description of the equipment and then I will include “Factory Info” for each item for further information.
First let me say that ALL items in this listing are hardly used. Pictures will show.
The PreSonus StudioLive 16.4.2 has always been rack mounted as seen in the photos. It’s in mint condition as is all the equipment in this listing. It has the latest firmware and recording software. I also have the original boxes it came in. This mixer is awesome! It does so much more than just mix…you’ll have to read the manual.
The TCS115M monitors are in mint condition with very little use. They are incredibly well made, very solid materials and heavy metal grills. These are not your typical 12" monitor...they are 15" bi-ampable beast! Todays new speakers equal to these would cost $1,500.00 each minimum. I have labeled the monitors 1 thru 4 and labeled the cables as well so all that is needed is to plug the cables into the matching monitor and your done. Cables conveniently fit into bottom of rack case. I took several pictures at every angle to show how flawless these are. I’m the original owner and bought these brand new in 2004. A couple months after purchasing these, I left the country on tour for a couple years and they have set in my smoke free climate controlled studio. I bought tons of equipment with the intension of putting a band together but I’ve never found the time and I have worked either as a solo or duet for the past decade so now I’m selling off a bunch of equipment that’s not being used.
The boxes the monitors came in were stored in my garage and they’re not in the best condition due to Florida temperatures. The bottoms are coming apart and I have duct taped the corners on a couple of them. I was going to throw them away but I’ll let the new owner decide that.
The dbx 2231’s, DCM 4000 Power Amp, Furman and Cables are all in mint condition. I bought these new when I purchased the monitors and they have always been in the rack mount case. Same story as above…very little use. You have 31 bands of EQ per monitor along with 1000 watts per monitor so there’s no excuse for not dialing in the perfect monitor mix with tons of power to spare.
The SKB Rack Case is in great physical condition with some light scuffs and scratches. All the rails are straight. The two doors when attached and latched form and airtight fit. There are rails on the front and back so essentially you have a total of 32 spaces. Comes with the original SKB Removable Dolly, however, the 4 wheels do not lock. The case is shock mounted to absorb impact. These are also rain proof so if your ever in a stormy situation, throw the doors on and have piece of mind your equipment is safe!
The OSP Rack Case is in great physical condition with some light scuffs and scratches as well. All the rails are straight. There are rails on the front and back so essentially you have a total of 32 spaces on the bottom and plus there’s a 12 space on top for the PreSonus or any rack-able gear. Also has a sliding top for your computer , etc…
Thanks for checking it out! Also, please check my other listing as well.
(Due to the size and weight local pickup is best. However, I may can deliver to your area if it happens to be in route of my USA tour...so if you're interested in this purchase, let me know where you reside).

TCS115M
OPERATING MODES
The switch on the TCS series input panels allows you to select two operating modes: FULL RANGE mode (single amplifier) or BI AMP mode (separate low and high frequency amplifiers). In FULL RANGE mode, the internal crossover of the loudspeakers divide the audio signal into the separate frequency ranges for each driver. In BI AMP mode, one amplifier is used to power the low frequency drivers and another amplifier is used to power the high frequency drivers. In both modes the internal crossover is active to ensure the best quality sound possible from the loudspeaker.

DCM4000
The DCM4000 was designed for pro sound companies and individuals who require huge amounts of clean RMS power to drive large, professional speaker systems and arrays, as well as high powered monitor systems. This was the main idea and motivation behind the concept of the DCM4000: Twice the power - same number of rack spaces. Another advantage of the DCM4000 was even more obvious - 1400 Watts x 2 at 8 ohms in bridge mode!
A TON OF POWER X 4
Each DCM4000 incorporates four separate 1000 Watt RMS amps and is powered by redundant toroid power supplies that are totally independent of each other. It's like having two complete 2000 watt amps in one 3 space package. The only thing they share is the AC cord so if one of the two primary fuses fails, the other amps are not affected. These four amps can be used to power four separate speakers from four different sources (this is ideal for monitor systems). Each side can be bridged to become two 2000 Watt amps (great for high powered speakers and subwoofers like the Carvin TCS series). Each side can even be paralleled and then chained together to be fed by a single input source (perfect for arrays with a large number speakers).
AWESOME SOUND!
What good is a ton of power if it doesn't sound great? The Carvin DCM4000 is an incredibly transparent amp sporting slew rates well over 50 VmS. With massive dual power supplies and huge reserve capacitors for on-demand power, the DCM4000 delivers pure, uncolored sound at full output; with tight, punchy lows and open, transparent highs – without a hint of distortion.
RUGGED TO THE EXTREME
These pro amplifiers are completely protected from any kind of abuse that might pop up in a typical road rig – thermal, over-current, short-circuit, voltage spikes, "hot-swapping" speakers – the DCM4000 is designed to protect itself and be right back up and running as soon as the problem is remedied. The all-steel, front & rear rack-able chassis can take whatever abuse is thrown at it. These amplifiers are just what the real pro wants - "rack'em and forget’em".
COOLEST COOLING
Carvin's exclusive "Wind-Tunnel" heat-sink with dual "push/pull" 105 CFM fans, ensures full, uninterrupted RMS power delivery without over-heating concerns. These are continuous-duty amps meaning that if you drive them at full power, 24 hours a day, they won't shut down. And, be assured that you'll get your full power in RMS watts, not pulse or peak power.
DISTORTION-FREE LIMITERS
The purpose of a limiter is to hold down peaks so the amp won't distort even with extra hot input signals (this protects your expensive speakers). In addition, a well designed limiter can increase your amp's average output as much as 3 db. Part of Carvin's design uses the more expensive, distortion-free linear "opto isolators". Unlike amps that use FET controlled limiters which can inject small amounts of distortion, the DCM Series limiters keep your sound pure and uncolored!
FRONT & REAR PANELS
Along with the normal Gain controls and Signal, Clip, and Power indicators, we've included a very useful "Bridge Mode" indicator to avoid inconvenient or even costly hook-up mistakes. On the back panel you get a male and female XLR input per amp (perfect for daisy-chaining amps). The DCM4000 features a speaker output section with professional high current Twist-Lok and Banana/Binding Post connectors to mate with any pro speaker rig. Each dual-amp side features switches for Bridging, Parallel input, Ground Lift, Limiter, and Sub-sonic filter.

Furman PL-8 Power Conditioner and Light Module
PL-8 FEATURES
- Two slide-out, swiveling light fixtures for rack illumination
- Eight accessory outlets in rear, controlled by a front panel switch
- Triple mode varistor spike and surge protection
- RFI / EMI filtering
- Circuit breaker, 15-amp rating
- Dimmer control for lamp brightness
- Separate switch for lamps
- Ten-foot, heavy duty 14-gauge AC cord
PL-8
The Furman PL-8 and PL-PLUS Power Conditioners and Light Modules are the perfect accessory for any rack-mount system. lnstall a PL-8 in the top slot of your rack, and the eight switched AC outlets on the rear panel will power up all your equipment while its two slide-out light fixtures provide discreet illumination of the controls on stages, in studios, and in other dark places. A dimmer control lets you adjust the lamp brightness to just the right level.
The PL-8 protects your delicate electronic equipment by combining a high-voltage surge and transient suppressor with an RFI/EMI interference filter. The fast-acting suppression circuit responds in less than a nanosecond, clamping transient voltages to safe levels. The peak clamping voltage is 340 VAC, effective for spikes on any of the three AC conductors, and the clamping circuitry can absorb a total of up to 240 Joules. These specifications indicate a very high degree of protection when compared with competitive products. The filter works to prevent noise from fluorescent lights, dimmers, radio transmitters, and similar sources of “electronic pollution” from contaminating the AC line and from there, leaking into sensitive audio, video or computer circuits.
The eight circuit-breaker protected outlets are rated at 15 amps. If the total load on the PL-8 (combining all outlets) exceeds 15 amps, the circuit breaker will trip, cutting off power to your rack.
If this occurs, reduce the load by unplugging one or more units from the PL-8. Then push the black button on the circuit breaker (on the front panel) down and in to reset it.
The PL-8’s lamps come supplied with five-watt night-light bulbs. Replacements are readily available at most hardware stores or almost anywhere household light bulbs are sold. Bulbs are easily replaced without removing the unit from the rack by unscrewing the cap on the end of each light tube. The caps and light tubes become quite warm to the touch in normal operation. To avoid burning your fingers, allow the cap to cool completely before unscrewing it. Be careful not to push the tubes in while the caps are unscrewed.
If you find that the heat from the tubes is excessive, try reducing the setting of the dimmer knob. As an alternative, you may wish to substitute four-watt bulbs or even colored Christmas tree bulbs.
The PL-8 has a master switch for the rear outlets which lights up when the power is on. There is also a separate switch for the lamps, allowing you to check your rack’s settings before applying power to it. The lights do not turn off automatically when the tubes are pushed in, so be sure to use the switch.
