Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A 1960's Danelectro Vincent Bell Coral Firefly Bass Guitar.. Model F2B4 … These Bass guitars were made from 1967 to 1969...No telling which year this one is...This one is in fabulous shape.
I'm selling this with the original Victoria Hardshell Case. Wow..what a cool case! The Victoria Label is on the accessory box. Yes, it still has the accessory box...As nice as the bass. Only the Handle was replaced. See pics..
If you are looking at this, you probably already know what this is…and how RARE it is to see one offered for sale. Many Coral Fireflys in the 6 string Models are floating around but to have the Bass Model is very cool. Danelectro Collectors will be lining up for this one…Especially with the original Victoria Hardshell Case!
This Dano Bass Guitar is in beautiful shape. I had Jeff the Tech set it up and it plays great with awesome low action. The only malady I found was the added plate to the input jack. I can’t see any damage but it may or may not be original.. See pics..
Heres some info I found on these cool guitars..
- symmetrical double cutaway ES-335 semi-hollowbody-style, two f-holes, body binding, bolt-on neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, rosewood headstock overlay with four-on-one-side tuners, non-vibrato bridge, trapeze tailpiece, small pickguard, two pickups, four knobs, three-way switch, chrome hardware, available in various finishes, mfg. 1967-69 …
The Kluson Individual Tuners work as they should and it has the correct hexagonal Tuner grommets as well. 30 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 3/4 inches. Weighs only 6 lbs 11 0zs. No sore backs with this cool bass. Super RARE ...try to find another!
What a Bass! Plays and sounds great. Awesome action and to have the original case! WOW! Grab this one. You won't be sorry!
Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used but note that I have been hand-picking vintage guitars for my customers for over 16 years now. All have loved them and this one will not be an exception. Check my Feedbacks.
