I have used this personally for years and it has served me really well. There is absolutely no damage to the pedal and it sounds great-the same as the first time I plugged it in.

Starting a pedal board can often be daunting because it seems like there are thousands of combinations to choose from. The Fly Rig is a great gateway pedal to begin your pedalboard journey - all for a great price. At the foundation, a pedal board should have some sort of
1. Drive
2. Compressor
3. Delay/Reverb
to really bring the sound of the guitar together. And with the Fly Rig, you already get 2 of the 3 effects.
My first board simply had the Tech 21 Fly Rig and a Boss CS-3, which served me well for over a year. It was honestly all I needed.
Because it has the Sans Amp Modeler, I could get a beautiful tube amp sound even when plugged straight into the PA. Here is a video of the Fly Rig going straight into a PA. (not me in the video)

Overall, it's a great sounding and versatile pedal with so much value.
