A gorgeous 1923 Gibson A4 Mandolin with a non-original case!! Its just unbelievably gorgeous!! She's all original except for the bridge. The original bridge (which is in the case) has a small crack so we replaced it with a new ebony compensated bridge. There is a little wear from playing and aging of the binding and gear buttons but it's all very minor. Built in 1923, this mandolin was built in the famous Lloyd Loar time period of Gibson. However, this mandolin was not signed by Lloyd Loar. These old Gibson mandolins always surprise me with their volume and rich tone but this A4 is by far the sweetest sounding mandolin we've had in our Shoppe!!!!
