The biggest 2x12 guitar cab you will ever hear... and it only weighs 30 lbs.!
This is not your standard guitar cab, folks. Neodymium speakers and a light-weight, ported enclosure not only make this thing a breeze to carry (I can carry this with one hand without a problem), but produce a huge sound. Matrix says it acts and feels like a 4x12, and I'm not sure if I believe that to be necessarily true, but it does sound bigger than most 2x12 cabs and combos I've played through. As amazing as it sounds, I'm changing my rig a bit and downsizing to a 1x12 powered option.
Stereo and mono capability, allowing you to run stereo at 60w/16ohms per side, or 120w/8ohms in mono. Stereo/mono switch is on the rear. 1/4" and SpeakON combo connectors.
This cab also has a much wider frequency response than most - 55Hz to 20kHz, whereas most guitar cabs run about 100Hz-5kHz. This means more of your amp's harmonics will be produced, giving you more of a full sound. Ideal for tube amps up to about 50 or 60 watts, and solid state/digital amps of roughly double that amount. Though not a true bass cabinet, it does also work really well for bass - my bass, in drop A, sounds nice and clear, but tunings much lower than that probably won't do too well. It might not hold up to high volume levels either.
The corner protectors have a few scratches, but the cabinet itself is in very good condition. One of the scratched corners is pictured.
All original paperwork is included.
