Stu did a clinic at Hot Licks the summer of 1990, during the "Hair Rock" peak. This bass was purchased for the clinic, Stu played it for the clinic, signed it and it went to Mr.Paul McDermott’s office, the owner of Guitar Shop Hot Licks.I bought from him in April 2018. Stu was at the top of the heap for bass players on demand. His tapping technique was quite unique. He choose the Ex Factor for its tonal and musical range. At this time the basses were made in the Fender Custom Shop, keeping their quality at the absolute best!
Included is the original owners manual, warranty card, original strings and Original Factor Brochure. The bass is basically unplayed. Also as an added bonus, included is the original invoice from Fender for the bass AND the original invoice for Stu's clinic (Stu was paid $1000 for the evening!).It was worth it big time!
