Here's one you just don't see every day. A 1964 (as best we can tell) Fender King acoustic guitar. These guitars were known as the "Broomstick" for the aluminum strut running through the body. This one is relatively early, featuring the odd, original bridge setup.
The guitar plays like the pre-CBS Fender that it is, with a really comfy neck and thin rosewood fingerboard. The body is in good shape with no major dings or cracks.
Now for the extras... note the unique Bakelite (!) pick guards, framing a vintage DeArmond 5-pole pickup. Somebody, in the distant past, put a lot of time and effort into this!
The pickup was fully serviced here in our shop and it's rock solid.
There's also a vintage strap included, as pictured.
Includes a hard shell case.
